The background to this is that support for Windows 10 will expire for most users in October 2024.

Currently Microsoft's marketing seems to be pursuing more subtle methods to bring Windows 10 users to Windows 11. The colleagues from neowin.net have taken up the topic recently in the article here and write that more users are now somehow being maltreated with full-screen ads.

It links to the ArsTechnica article Microsoft pushes full-screen ads for Copilot+ PCs on Windows 10 users, in which full-screen ads that are intended to make Copilot PCs with Windows 11 appealing to users were discussed.

The screenshot above refers to the end of support for Windows 10 and its successor Windows 11. Neowin.net lists further posts, such as this tweet, where "Windows 11 do more" is intended to influence users.
