Google is patching this framework since 2015 \u2013 without real success. The updates addresses Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) up to Android 8.0 (Oreo). Unfortunately only a few users of newer Google Nexus and Pixel devices are receiving these updates. Other Android vendors are receiving these patches, but 99 % of all Android devices are never receiving these updates (or only with a long delay). So the Android eco system is terrible broken from a security view. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
[German]Google has released its monthly Android security updates for September 2017.
