These VMs contain a version of Windows that can run for 90 days. I have now received a note from a reader that the content is no longer available \"due to technical difficulties\" since October 2024.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I had occasionally reported on this possibility here in the blog (see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2024\/09\/30\/windows-11-24h2-evaluation-iso-images-released\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Windows 11 24H2: Evaluation ISO images released<\/a>). The VM images in question were available via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/de-de\/evalcenter\/evaluate-windows-10-enterprise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Evaluation Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/tobwen.bsky.social\/post\/3ljavxxrzjk2w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/bwC1p09S\/image.png\" alt=\"Evaluation-VMs von Windows nicht mehr verf\u00fcgbar\" width=\"521\" height=\"566\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now Tobias has contacted BlueSky with the <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/tobwen.bsky.social\/post\/3ljavxxrzjk2w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">above post<\/a> and writes that the content is no longer available due to technical problems since October 23, 2024 (can be found as an insert on the <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.microsoft.com\/de-de\/windows\/downloads\/virtual-machines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Windows 11 download page<\/a>). I tried to dig through the Microsoft pages in the Evaluation Center to download a Windows 10 ISO. The whole thing is very slow and at the end of the day I end up on a page where I have to enter my contact details in order to get the VM. I stopped at this point.
