I have just been informed that there are problems installing Intel driver packages provided by Fujitsu under Windows.

I just published the blog post Windows 11: Trouble with Intel driver update (XMG Neo 17 E24) on June 6, 2025. There, a reader complains that the Intel® Killer™ Performance Suite throws the installation error shown below on the desktop.

However, the article refers to an XMG Neo 17 E24 notebook. German blog reader Ron F. wrote in the comments of the German edition of my blog post, that he is currently experiencing problems with Fujitsu devices in his company environment when an Intel driver update is to be installed.

This driver update is rejected during installation via the Windows desktop because the .exe file of the update package is not signed. The reader wrote "The EXE for installation is not signed and Deskupdate refuses to install."

Ron F. suggests that this is probably a Fujitsu problem, as the manufacturer packs the setup files for such packages themselves. The question is whether other readers have had or are having this problem? A quick search on the web didn't turn up anything.

[German]A quick question for readers who use Fujitsu devices.
