The hotfixes from May 2025 do not contain any new Exchange Server security updates, but corrections for non-security-related problems.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A German blog reader pointed this out to me by email the other day, as he had only received these updates via WSUS on June 7, 2025. The whole thing had completely passed me by.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/D00HPg1V\/image.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/D00HPg1V\/image.png\" alt=\"Exchange Server Mai 2025 Hotfix Updates\" width=\"640\" height=\"71\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On May 29, 2025, Microsoft published the support article <a href=\"https:\/\/techcommunity.microsoft.com\/blog\/exchange\/released-may-2025-exchange-server-hotfix-updates\/4418786\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Released: May 2025 Exchange Server Hotfix Updates<\/a> with the relevant information. Accordingly, the following were released:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exchange Server 2019\u00a0<a class=\"lia-external-url\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=108192\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CU14<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a class=\"lia-external-url\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=108194\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CU15<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Exchange Server 2016\u00a0<a class=\"lia-external-url\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=108193\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CU23<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Microsoft points out that a \"known issue\" was listed in some of the latest Exchange update versions. One of the issues addressed in this hotfix update is that the bug that Edge Transport service stops responding after installing the November 2024 SU has been fixed.
