In addition, the preview updates KB506266 for Windows 11 24H2 and KB5062663 for Windows 11 22H2 &#8211; 23H2 were published. These updates contain corrections that can be tested and will then be rolled out generally as fixes in the following month.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg04.met.vgwort.de\/na\/9a720ef90f1742dcbd92dc15b840bb80\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>It should be noted that preview updates must be manually initiated for download and installation by default (although Windows 11 22H2 and higher contains options for automatic installation).<\/p>\n<h2>Preview update KB5062660 for Windows 11 24H2<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vg09.met.vgwort.de\/na\/dd5a3bc6c51743a68534e45357396cc5\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>The list of updates for Windows 11 can be viewed on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/windows-11-version-24h2-update-history-0929c747-1815-4543-8461-0160d16f15e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this Microsoft site<\/a>. The preview update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/5062660\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB5062660<\/a> was released for Windows 11 version 24H2 on July 22, 2025. Microsoft refers to the improvements and corrections as highlights and a gradual rollout (not available for all users) as well as a normal rollout (for all users).<\/p>\n<p>Recall is now available for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) as part of the Gradual Rollout. In the EEA, Recall supports the export of snapshots to share them with trusted third-party applications and websites. Furthermore, various Click to Do improvements are provided and adjustments are made to the settings on CoPilot+PC systems. Some users experienced a problem where clicking\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">\"Enroll now\"<\/b>\u00a0caused the wizard window to open, begin loading, and then close unexpectedly. This occurred due to incomplete app registration, which prevented the wizard from loading correctly. This update addresses that issue to ensure a smoother enrollment experience.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Mobile Operator Profiles]<\/b>\u00a0Updated: Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) profiles.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Secure Boot]<\/b>\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\"><i class=\"ocpItalic\">New!<\/i>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0Adds the ability to deploy SKUSiPolicy VBS Anti-rollback protections through the Secure Boot\u00a0<b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">AvailableUpdates<\/b>\u00a0registry key.<\/li>\n<li><b class=\"ocpLegacyBold\">[Core File Systems]<\/b>\u00a0Fixed: An issue observed in rare cases after installing the May 2025 security update and subsequent updates causing devices to experience stability issues. Users were unable to select words after a recent update.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed: A known\u00a0issue when searching for an emoji in the emoji panel. After a recent update, the search always returns no results.<\/li>\n<li>\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bFixed: An issue in which phonetic input methods, including the Hindi Phonetic Input keyboard and Marathi Phonetic keyboard do not work correctly after a recent update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The update is offered via Windows Update (when searching for optional updates), but can also be downloaded and installed from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catalog.update.microsoft.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Update Catalog<\/a>.
