This blog post provides an overview of released updates for Office 2013 and Office 2016.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-vg03.met.vgwort.de\/na\/c1bbf0d310fd407b8328a0d1f085f2c5\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" \/>The updates refer to the installable MSI version of Office, not to the Click-to-run packages that update through other channels. These non-safety relevant updates are documented on <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.technet.microsoft.com\/office_sustained_engineering\/2017\/10\/03\/october-2017-non-security-office-update-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this website<\/a> and in the linked KB articles. Here is the list of updates.<\/p>\n<h2>Office 2013<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Access 2013<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/3172543\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB3172543<\/a>): This update improves the translation of the <strong>Allow Full Menus<\/strong> option for the Danish version of Access 2013.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Excel 2013<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011181\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011181<\/a>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This update improves several translations for the Danish and German versions of Excel 2013.<\/li>\n<li>This update also fixes the following issue:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After you update or refresh a PowerPivot table, the formatting disappears.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Office 2013 <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011148\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011148<\/a>): This update fixes the following issue:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you export a PDF file by using the Visio 2013 drawing control in an application, the PDF file is pixelated because it's raster-based instead of vector-based. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following: <em>Unhandled exception at 0x6846B979 (VISLIB.DLL) in VISIO.EXE: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>When you change the style for a shape by using Visio Drawing Control in an application, the application may crash.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Word 2013<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011150\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011150<\/a>): Fixes the following bugs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Outlook 2013 crashes randomly when you print a file in Outlook 2013 by using certain third-party printers.<\/li>\n<li>When you open some PDF files that have certain image encoding in Word 2013, the images may be displayed presentation mode in PowerPoint 2016. When you disconnect and then reconnect to a Virtual Machine (VM) session, PowerPoint 2016 may freeze and crash.<\/li>\n<li>When the <strong>Disable hardware graphics acceleration<\/strong> option is checked, you experience rendering issues on running Project 2016.<\/li>\n<li>Some memory allocation issues aren't optimally handled on 32-bit Office 2016 applications that are running with high resolution devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Office 2016<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011158<\/a>): This update fixes the following issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Visio drawing that has patterned fills is printed incorrectly in the 32-bit version of Visio 2016.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/library\/windows\/desktop\/dd374146(v=vs.85).aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">End-user-defined (EUDCs) and private user area (PUA) characters<\/a> that are linked to fonts are failed to be displayed in PowerPoint 2016.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft Office 2016<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011167\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011167<\/a>): This update fixes an issue in which the decimal tabs in Word 2016 don't respect the regional format that you have set in Windows regional settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2016<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4011164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4011164<\/a>): This update adds support for multiple items selection in the dialog box when you open links by selecting <strong>Edit Links to Files<\/strong> in a presentation in PowerPoint 2016.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Note<\/strong> To enable multiple selection support in the edit link dialog after you install this update, follow the steps in the <a Contains the following bug fixes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consider the following scenario:\n<ul>\n<li>You decide to edit a project in Project Web App or Project 2016.<\/li>\n<li>You enter time-phased Actual or Actual Overtime work on an assignment and notice that it's no longer scheduled the way that you expect it should be.<\/li>\n<li>You adjust the assignment start dates and finish dates to reflect the schedule that you have expected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this situation, additional actual work that you don't enter may be applied to the assignment unexpectedly.<\/li>\n<li>Assume that you have a
