The Update history for Windows 7 may be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-in\/help\/4009469\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this Microsoft site<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h3>KB4056897 (Security Only) for Windows 7\/Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1<\/h3>\n<p>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-in\/help\/4056897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4056897<\/a> (Security-only update) is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. It addresses the following topics.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Security updates to Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Graphics, Windows Kernel, and Windows SMB Server.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Note that this update is only offered if the installed antivirus solution has been customized by the vendor and a specific registry entry has been set.<\/p>\n<p>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\ CurrentVersion\\QualityCompat\\cadca5fe-87d3-4b96-b7fb-a231484277cc <\/p>\n<p>The REG_DWORD value <em>Data<\/em> has to be set to \"0x00000000\". <\/p>\n<p>Since it has already been requested: The registry entry is set by the virus scanner (including Microsoft Security Essentials) itself. Microsoft is working on this problem, but has no solution yet.
