German Ashampo GmbH has developed the Ashampoo\u00ae Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker for Windows. The free program does not need to be installed and is available for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. <\/p>\n

With the Ashampoo Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker, the user can check with one click if his system is vulnerable. It is interesting to note that the Ashampo tool uses Microsoft test routines, but without having to deal with the complicated inputs and configurations as a user and then interpret the cryptic results. <\/p>\n

The Ashampoo Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker does not require any registration or installation, but can be started immediately. It is sufficient to double-click the downloaded program SpectreMeltdownCheck. exe and confirm the security query of the user account control.<\/p>\n

The tool needs administrator privileges – and an Internet connection after the scan. So the decision whether you execute the software is yours. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For a quick check, Ashampoo\u00ae Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker is a great tool. It is a pity that the tool does not provide more specific information about why one or the other vulnerability. <\/p>\n
