Update KB4011730<\/a> (Security Update for Word 2016) is intended to close the security gap CVE-2018-0919<\/a>. This vulnerability allows an attacker to provoke a memory overflow through a specially crafted Office document file. As a result, unauthorized information can be read from memory areas. Not an extremely critical error, but one that should be fixed. However, this update is only available for .msi <\/em>installations (not for click-to-run installations).  <\/p>\n

Issues with Word 2016 after Update KB4011730 <\/h2>\n
