This update contains the patches from <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/de-de\/help\/4088876\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4088876<\/a> (dated March 13, 2018) and addresses the following quality improvements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addresses issue where an iSCSI RESET might trigger a cluster failover.<\/li>\n<li>Addresses issue where using Offline Data Transfer between two servers might add extra bytes to the destination file.<\/li>\n<li>Addresses issue where WMI stops responding to queries and WMI-dependent operations fail after exceeding the 256 MB <a href=\"https:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/aa394624\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WMI Arbitrator<\/a> memory limit. Computers that experience high WMI memory usage or that return error WBEM_E_INVALID_CLASS or WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND should install this update. Since this is a preview update that does not contain any security-relevant content, installation is not absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n<h3>Install restrictions<\/h3>\n<p>The update will only be downloaded and installed if the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE branch under:<\/p>\n<p>SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\QualityCompat<\/p>\n<p>contains the 32-bit DWORD value cadca5fe-87d3-4b96-b7fb-a231484277cc set to 0x00000000 (antivirus compatibility flag).<\/p>\n<h2>Update KB4088883 for Windows Server 2012<\/h2>\n<p>Update <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4088883\/windows-server-2012-update-kb4088883\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4088883<\/a> is available for Windows Server 2012 as a monthly preview rollup update. This non-security update includes improvements and fixes that were part of KB4088877 (released March 13, 2018) and also includes these new quality improvements as a preview of the next monthly rollup update.
