Microsoft has stopped the rollout due to compatibility issues for such systems.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>German blog reader Ralf has left a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.borncity.com\/blog\/2018\/05\/03\/windows-10-version-1803-diese-probleme-gibt-es\/#comment-57645\" target=\"_blank\">comment<\/a> on May 8, 2018, pointing to this issue. A Microsoft moderator has posted <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/forum\/windows_10-windows_install\/devices-with-certain-intel-ssds-may-enter-a-uefi\/703ab5d8-d93e-4321-b8cc-c70ce22ce2f1?auth=1\" target=\"_blank\">this statement<\/a> within Microsoft Answers forum. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Devices with certain Intel SSDs may enter a UEFI screen reboot or crash repeatedly when upgrading to Windows 10 April 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When attempting to upgrade to Window 10 April 2018 Update select devices with certain Intel SSDs may enter a UEFI screen reboot or crash repeatedly.  <\/p>\n<p>Microsoft is currently blocking some Intel SSDs from installing the April 2018 Update due to a known incompatibility that may cause performance and stability issues.&nbsp; There is no workaround for this issue. If you have encountered this issue, you can roll back to Windows 10, version 1709 and wait for the resolution before attempting to install the April 2018 Update again.  <\/p>\n<p>Microsoft is currently working on a solution that will be provided in a near future Windows Update, after which these devices will be able to install the April 2018 Update.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So you have to wait, until Microsoft provides a fix and you should avoid a manual upgrade using an install media.&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[German]Owners of Windows 10 systems with Intel SSDs have to wait for the upgrade for Windows 10 April Update.
