This is a maintenance update which fixes some problems in the email client.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I was offered the update after a search. After the installation the Thunderbird has to be restarted.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/1BWv866.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Thunderbird 60.2.1\" alt=\"Thunderbird 60.2.1\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/1BWv866.jpg\" width=\"633\" height=\"263\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/en-US\/thunderbird\/60.2.1\/releasenotes\/\" target=\"_blank\">release notes<\/a> are reporting the following changes and fixes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Calendar: Default values for the first day of the week and working days are now derived from the selected datetime formatting locale (restart after changing locale in the OS required)<\/p>\n<li><b>CHANGED<\/b>\n<p>Calendar: Switch to a Photon-style icon set for all platforms<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Multiple requests for master password when Google Mail or Calendar OAuth2 is enabled<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Scrollbar of the address entry auto-complete popup does not work<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Security info dialog in compose window does not show certificate status<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Links in the Add-on Manager's search results and theme browsing tabs open in external browser<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Localized versions of Thunderbird didn't show a localized name for the \"Drafts\" and \"Sent\" folders for certain IMAP providers (particularly in France)<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Replying to a message with an empty subject inserted Re: twice (not working in Thunderbird 60.0)<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Spellcheck marks disappeared erroneously for words with an apostrophe (not working in Thunderbird 60.0)<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Calendar: First day of the week cannot be set<\/p>\n<li><b>FIXED<\/b>\n<p>Calendar: Several fixes related to cutting\/deleting of events and email scheduling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mozilla's developers have updated the email program Thunderbird to version 60.2.1.
