Microsoft has released a firmware update on November 7, 2018 to fix security and a bug in the Device Manager.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The updates apply only to Surface Pro 3 devices that have Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) or later installed. The Changelog from the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-ca\/help\/4023484\/surface-surface-pro-3-update-history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Update History page<\/a> lists the following updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Surface \u2013 System \u2013 2.0.1360.0: Improves system stability and resolve Device Manager error state.<\/li>\n<li>Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. \u2013 Bluetooth \u2013 15.68.9125.57: Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter \u2013 Bluetooth; improves system security.<\/li>\n<li>Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. \u2013 Net \u2013 15.68.9125.57: Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller \u2013 Network adapters; improves system security.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The firmware is distributed via Windows Update, but can also be downloaded from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=38826\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Surface Pro 3 Driver and Firmware<\/a> page.
