This issue is caused by different cumulative updates for different versions of Windows 10. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Windows Media Player: Bug in Seek Bar<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/vg08.met.vgwort.de\/na\/ae399724d6034801bf2bba202b057ed8\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\">If you installed the November 13, 2018 cumulative updates for Windows 10 and use Windows Media Player, you might encounter a bug. The Seek Bar in Windows Media Player no longer works. Microsoft has now announced the issue in its KB articles. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>After installing this update, users may not be able to use the <strong>Seek Bar<\/strong> in Windows Media Player when playing specific files.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This issue affects the following cumulative updates and Windows 10 versions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4467708\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4467708<\/a> for Windows 10 Version 1809,\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4467702\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4467702<\/a> for Windows 10 Version 1803\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4467686\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KB4467686<\/a> for Windows 10 Version 1709 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Microsoft is working on a solution to this problem and will and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
