The website is classified as 'dangerous'. Addendum: This fals warning has been fixed.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I was surprised when I came across the information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bleepingcomputer.com\/news\/security\/bing-is-warning-that-the-vlc-media-player-site-is-unsafe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. So I tried it myself, called bing.com and searched for the VLC player. When I then pointed to the link of the page, there was a bold warning that the page could be dangerous.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/BNtbEq1.jpg\" alt=\"Bing-Warnung vor der VLC-Player-Seite\" width=\"605\" height=\"355\" \/><br \/>\n(<a href=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/BNtbEq1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Zum vergr\u00f6\u00dfern klicken<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>It can probably only be a false alarm, the makers of the VLC player (Videolan) have already reacted to Twitter.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"de\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Supposedly, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bing?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@bing<\/a> now consider vlc-3.0.4-win64.exe as a malware, which gives an annoying popup.<br \/>\nThis appeared 2 days ago, and we have no clue how to fix it (yet).<br \/>\nWe've checked, and the binary has not changed and is still correctly signed&#8230;<br \/>\n.<br \/>\ntbc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 VideoLAN (@videolan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/videolan\/status\/1067417007468003328?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">27.
