But this update is causing blue screens on Microsoft's Surface Book 2 (and other devices) \u2013 see my blog post <a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2018\/12\/05\/surface-book-2-update-kb4467682-causes-blue-screens\/\">Surface Book 2: Update KB4467682 causes blue screens \u2026<\/a>. Tomorrow I will release another blog post describing a second issue, causes by update KB4467682 (see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/borncity.com\/win\/2018\/12\/07\/windows-10-update-kb4467682-breaks-custom-start-menu\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Windows 10: Update KB4467682 breaks Custom Start menu<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Due to these issues mentioned above, Microsoft decided to pull update KB4467682. On the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4467682\/windows-10-update-kb4467682\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kb-article<\/a> you can read the following message:<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-right: 0px;\">\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffd0;\"><strong>Notice:<\/strong> After installing this optional update some users have reported getting a blue or black screen with error code, \"System thread exception not handled.\" As a precaution, we have removed this optional update from Windows Update and Microsoft Update Catalog to protect customers.
