The Factory Image<\/a> (LRX22G) for Android 5.0.2 is only available for the old Nexus 7 2012 Wi-Fi model. This update is for bug fixes, because there has been no Nexus 7 firmware update for Android 5.0.1. Some users are reporting heavy performance issues with Nexus 7 (2012) after updating to Lollipop (Android 5.0). The reason is the slow NAND memory chips included in Nexus 7 (2013). Some users are reporting, that a factory wipe and uninstalling some apps improved performance. <\/p>\n As reported here<\/a>, the Nexus 7 LRX21P-Android 5.0 ROM contains a bug, that causes trouble. Fstrim, introduced in Android 4.3, is causing trouble under Lollipop.
