WordPress 4.9.6 – GDPR Maintenance update

The developers of WordPress have just (May 17, 2018) released version 4.9.6. This is a maintenance update that fixes 18 bugs. In addition, WordPress has been made fit for the european GDPR, and the update brings some useful improvements. Details may be read within the release notes.
