Microsoft's Exchange team has just announced improvements for shared calendars in Outlook for Windows. These should dramatically improve reliability and synchronization latency for shared calendars and delegated calendars across all Outlook clients. The improvements have been available for some time in Outlook on the Web, the new Outlook for Mac and for mobile devices, and now in Outlook for Windows. Right now, about 10% of Outlook for Windows users in the Current Channel with version 2103 have received these improvements. Microsoft plans to gradually expand this rollout through the summer. Details can be found in the Techcommunity article Outlook for Windows Shared Calendar Public Notifications.
