On the International Space Station (ISS), Christmas preparations are also underway (see my German post Matthias Maurer: Fein machen für Weihnachten auf der ISS). Astronauts in space have always found a way to celebrate Christmas in a special way since the days of Apollo. Unforgotten with me is the Christmas message from 1968 read by the Apollo 8 crew as they orbited the moon. NASA points out the theme in the following tweet and has published some episodes with photos in this post.
