[German]The developers of Thunderbird have released another update of the email client to version 115.3.2 on October 11, 2023 (thanks to reader for the tip). It is an update which is supposed to fix numerous bugs, but does not contain any new features and security fixes.

According to the release notes, the update to version 115.3.0 brings the following bug fixes.
- "Open in conversation" did not open messages in a thread view
- News messsage with non-ASCII author name were incorrectly canceled
- Localized "Re: " prefix was not stripped from news messages
- Thunderbird attempted to load accounts missing server hostname, causing blank 3-pane window
- Permission description strings were missing from Add-Ons Manager
- Card View displayed incorrect recipient name for mail and news accounts, depending on folder
- Spell check dictionary dialog sometimes pushed Close button out of view
- Importing calendars from iCal files did not work under certain circumstances
- Calendar invitations were not sent to event participants, only organizer
- Calendar alarm dialogs with lengthy descriptions pushed buttons out of view
There are also various visual fixes. The update does not fix any vulnerabilities. The system requirements for the different operating system versions (see here for more details). Thunderbird may downloaded for free here.
