Microsoft survey on virtualization: Migration from VMware

With Broadcom's change of plans regarding the licensing of VMware virtualization products (see Broadcom ends perpetual licenses for VMware products – End of the free ESXi server?), many users are thinking about switching to other products. Microsoft is also thinking about how to accommodate these "refugees".

According to the following tweet by Jack Wollsey, Microsoft is facing a dramatic increase in questions about Microsoft virtualization. Redmond has therefore launched a survey to find out what users think about virtualization.

Migration from VMware

The poll Migration from VMware only has three questions with multiple-choice options. Speculation: Will Microsoft then continue to develop Hyper-V and no longer rely on Azure Stack HCI for virtualization?
