[German]Microsoft has recently made some announcements for functions in Microsoft 365 for March and April 2025 – 2026. The SharePoint add-ins will cease operation from 2026, and Azure ACS will also be discontinued. Here is a brief overview of what I have come across.

SharePoint add-in: EOL in April 2026
In the article MC693865 – SharePoint Add-In retirement in Microsoft 365, Microsoft once again reminded us that the SharePoint Add-In will be discontinued in 14 months. Microsoft will finally discontinue SharePoint Add-Ins by April 2, 2026. Users are advised to migrate to SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and use the Microsoft 365 Assessment Tool to prepare. This add-in should no longer be installed as of July 1, 2024 and will be removed for existing customers by April 2, 2026.
Azure ACS: EOL in April 2026
Azure ACS will also expire and fall out of support on April 2, 2026. This will affect SharePoint Online customizations. Microsoft recommends the transition to Microsoft Entra ID for authorization. As of November 1, 2024, the feature is no longer available for new tenants and will be discontinued for existing tenants on April 2, 2026. Organizations should prepare for this by updating their training and using the Microsoft 365 Assessment Tool, Microsoft writes in MC693863 – Azure ACS retirement in Microsoft 365.
SharePoint 2013 workflow: EOL in April 2026

Microsoft 365 Copilot app: Recording no longer applies
And there is another change that will take effect in a few weeks. Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue the video recording function in the Microsoft 365 Copilot mobile app for Android and iOS from March 17, 2025 and until March 31, 2025. According to MC993973.

Instead, Microsoft recommends using the video recording feature of the mobile device. After the shutdown, users will no longer be able to record new videos on the "Record" tab. They will only be able to view and access videos that have already been recorded and saved to their Microsoft OneDrive account or device.
