Windows 10 Build 15048 Insider Preview for PCs released

Microsoft has released Friday night Windows 10 Build 15048 for PCs as Insider Preview in Fast Ring. For Windows 10 Mobile we have Build 15047.

The announcement has been made within Microsoft's Windows-Blog. There you can read some details about what's fixed and you will find also a list of known issue. Here are a few things to mention:

• Some PCs are hanging at 71% and do a rollback to previous version. Go to thie Microsoft Answers forum thread, where this issue is discussed.
• System with Norton Antivirus installed are failing with upgrade error 0x80070228. See this tread at Microsoft Answers forum for details.
• If you used the IPv6 registry fix for Build 15042 (see this blog post) needs to set the registry key back to old values. 
• Important: If you installed additional language packs, this build won't download. Uninstall the language packs (see here). 
• This build is shipped again with a time bomb and a water mark on desktop. 
• Users with multi monitor environments will face issues with on display – rebooting will fix it temporary. 
• I found some postings, that from this build on some machines are receiving only UUP updates (no .ESD files anymore). The registry hack to force ESD-Download won't work anymore. But there are an UUP-Decrypter (see) to create an ISO image from download.

BTW: It seems that the App update stop, reported a few days ago for Insiders, has been ended. Some people are reporting, that they are receiving App updates.
