It seems, that Microsoft's Outlook.com has a worldwide outage. First I noticed, that a fresh outlook.de account, I set up this morning, dropped sync errors.

My attempt, to login to live.com within a browser ended with a "site not reachable" error.
Then I visited portal.office.com/servicestatus (see screenshot below). It shows an Outlook.com outage.
Also isitdownrightnow.com and downdetector.com/status/outlook reporting an Outlook.com outage. Update: Askwoody.com also reported an outage.
