FYI: End of Support for Windows 7, SQL-Server 2008 and more

At the end of the year, a brief outlook on various Microsoft products that will be dropped from support in 2019 or January 2020. This leaves a few months to plan the migration to successor products.

Here is a brief overview of Microsoft products that will be dropped from support over the next 13 months.

As of this date, there will be no more security updates for these products. However, enterprise customers can still book a fee-based, extended support for Windows 7 until 2023 (see following link).
