Another small addendum: Microsoft released the System Center 2019 on March 14, 2019. Previously, System Center 2019 had been in a private preview by customers of the Windows Server Technical Adoption Program (TAP) since December 2018.

As customers expand their deployments in the public cloud and local data centers, the management tools evolve to meet customer needs. The System Center Suite continues to play an important role in managing the local data center and evolving IT requirements with the introduction of the public cloud.
System Center 2019 enables you to deploy and manage Windows Server 2019 on a larger scale to meet the needs of your data center. In a blog post on March 7, 2019, Microsoft introduced its features. System Center 2019 focuses on the following:
- Data center monitoring and management tools
- Support and management of features in the latest versions of Windows Server
- Enable hybrid management and monitoring capabilities with Azure.
System Center 2019 is a LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel) release offering 5 years of standard and 5 years of extended support. After the general availability (GA) of System Center 2019, the suite will continue to be updated with the half-yearly update rollup releases over 5 years of mainstream support. Only security updates are still available in Extended Support.
Customers with a valid System Center 2019 license can download media from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) Microsoft also provides an evaluation version of System Center 2019 at the Microsoft Evaluation Center. More details can be found in this blog post. A video can be found here.
