Firefox 104.0.2 released

Mozilla[German]Mozilla developers have released versions 104.0.2 of the Firefox browser on September 6, 2022. This is maintenance update, which is supposed to fix bugs. Thanks to the reader for pointing it out.

According to the release notes, the September 6, 2022 update again brings the following fixes to Firefox 104.0.2 (Security fixes don't seem to be included: 

  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to drag the scroll bar on pages by touch or stylus (bug 1787361).
  • Fixed an issue that caused some users to crash when the memory was full (bug 1774155).
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes affected video and audio playback when loaded via a cross-origin iframe src attribute (bug 1781759).
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes affected video and audio playback when delivered with Content-Security-Policy: sandbox (bug 1781063).

Firefox should update itself automatically, but can be downloaded from this web page for various platforms (choose the variant from the list boxes displayed).
