Firefox 106.0.1 released

Mozilla[German]The frequency of Firefox updates is currently moving towards days again. After Firefox 106.0 was released on October 18 (see), the Mozilla developers have released versions 106.0.1 of the Firefox browser on October 20, 2022.

This is a maintenance update that had to be pushed later because there were crashes on systems with AMD Zen 1 CPUs, according to the release notes. DFirefox should update itself automatically, but can be checked for new versions via the Help menu and About Firefox. In addition, the browser can be downloaded from this website for various platforms (the variant is to be selected via the displayed list boxes).
