[German]A little Sunday topic for readers who are using Windows 11 or are looking at this platform and are in need for a "Leightweigt Windows 11". There is a project called Tiny 11, where a hobbyist has stripped of all the bloatware that Microsoft ships with a Windows 11 Pro. The system is slim and runs smoother than the Windows 11 delivered by Microsoft. The hobbyist has shown in a video what he has removed and optimized for Tiny 11.

Windows 11 comes with hefty hardware requirements that slow down or complicate its installation on less powerful systems. Hobbyists may be able to work around some limitations on incompatible systems. But Windows 11 is no fun on a weak computer.
Tiny 11: A slim Windows 11
Now the idea is to slim down a Windows 11 so that it can handle slower computers. A hobbyist had presented his project Tiny11 at the beginning of February 2023 – a stripped-down Windows 11 Pro that still runs on slow hardware.
The person in question had not only mentioned the whole thing on Twitter, but also presented it in the video on YouTube and provided a download address. Tiny 11 is a regular Windows 11 version 22H2, which is reduced to the essentials. The final version requires only 8 GB on a hard drive (instead of 20 of the standard Windows 11). The installation also works on systems with 2 GB of RAM and does not require Trusted Platform Module or Secure Boot. It is even possible to upgrade from Windows 10 to Tiny11.
I had noticed the whole thing at neowin.net, they mentioned the project in the article Tiny11 is out—a lightweight and debloated Windows 11 for less powerful computers.

Steps presented in the video
But as it is with foreign ISOs, you should consider very well if you take the risk to get malware on your system with something like this. That's why I didn't present it in the blog at that time.
Now, however, the person in question has presented his project, or rather how one can assemble a Tiny 11 from a Windows 11 Pro, in a YouTube video. More videos, also about the installation, can be found on the developer's YouTube channel. I haven't experimented with this approach yet – but maybe it's something for "tinkerers" among the readership.
Addendum: The developer has now a Github page, where he offered the tiny11builder (thanks to the reader who mentioned in the comments below).

He has a github page now you can download the builder and make it yourself
