[German]Microsoft has released version 0.73.0 of its free PowerToys for Windows 10 and Windows 11 on August 31, 2023. In this version, the developer says it has focused on new features, stability and improvements. Here is an overview of the current status.

PowerToys 0.73
PowerToys version 0.73 will be released on August 31, 2023, with details available on this Github page. The following notes on highlights can be found there:
- The keyboard manager now supports the number pad (numpad) on the keyboard. Note that previously bound hotkeys stored in settings.json now respond only to non-numpad keys. If a user wants to restore the previous behavior, this can be done by manually adding a different binding for the numpad variant.
- New Utility: Crop And Lock lets you crop a current application to a smaller window or just create a thumbnail. Focus on the target window and press the keyboard shortcut to start cropping.
- FancyZones code improvements and refactor.
- Modernized ImageResizer UX.
- PowerRename with enhanced counter functionality.
Furthermore, the developer lists a number of changes, fixes, new features for version 0.73.0. The program is available in a 64-bit version for ARM and X64 CPUs on GitHub.
