Google Chrome 120.0.6099.109

Chrome[German]Google has released updates to the Google Chrome browser in the stable channel for Mac, Linux and Windows to version 120.0.6099.109 on December 12, 2023. The Chrome browser iOS app has also been updated. The updates contain security fixes. Here is an overview of these updates.

Google Chrome 120.0.6099.109

The announcement can be found in the Google blog. The stable channel has been updated to version 120.0.6099.109 for macOS, Windows and Linux. Google states that it has fixed the following vulnerabilities.

There are also various corrections from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives. Chrome will be rolled out to systems via the automatic update function over the next few days and weeks. You can (and should in this case) also update the browser manually (via the menu and the About Google Chrome command). The latest build of the Chrome browser can also be downloaded here. (via)

Users are complaining that the new design now displays the "application bar" in light blue – but this can be changed back to gray via the design (see the discussion in the linked deskmodder.de article).

Furthermore, according to this Google post, Google Chrome for iOS has already been updated to version 120.0.6099.1191 on 12.12.2023 and will be distributed via update in the next few days.
