Microsoft has released an update of the Edge (Chromium) browser in the stable channel to 120.0.2210.77 on December 14, 2023. Thanks to the reader for pointing this out. The release notes simply state "Fixed various bugs and performance issues." It also states that the vulnerability CVE-2023-36878 has been closed. I do not know whether the bugs reported in the comments of this German article have been fixed.
