[German]The developers of Thunderbird have released another update of the email client to version 115.6.0 on December 19, 2023. It is an update that is intended to fix some bugs and vulnerabilities. Thanks to the readers for their comments.

Thunderbird 115.6.0
According to the release notes, the update to version 115.5.2 brings the following bug fixes:
- Message selection was not working properly when selecting a submessage in an extended thread, collapsing the thread and then pressing the up/down key to move the selection
- Thunderbird now tries to reconnect after SMTP 4xx errors
- HTML FileLink attachments used the wrong encoding
Various vulnerabilities from this list have also been fixed. The system requirements for the different operating system versions (see here for more details):
- Windows: Windows 7 or higher
- Mac: Mac OS X 10.12 or higher
- Linux: GTK+ 3.14 or higher
