[German]Microsoft has released an optional, cumulative (preview) update KB5046714 for Windows 10 22H2 on (November 21, 2024, D-Week). This is the last preview update for Windows 10 22H2 for 2024. The update fixes some bugs in Windows 10, including an activation problem when replacing the motherboard. Below is an overview of these updates for Windows 10.

Windows 10 Preview Update KB5046714
Cumulative Preview Update KB5046714 is available for Windows 10 version 22H2 (all versions). The support article contains a list of fixes that Microsoft has specified for the update (these will be included in the security update for the following month).
- [App list backup] Fixed: Win32 shortcuts might not back up to the cloud.
- [Copy cloud files] Fixed: When you drag and drop files from a cloud files provider folder, it might result in a move instead of a copy.
These are both bugs that are fixed in connection with the cloud connection. Does anyone use these features and has encountered these bugs? The update also includes the following improvements:
- [Motherboard replacement] Fixed: Windows does not activate after you replace a motherboard.
- [Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA)] Fixed: This update brings profiles up to date for certain mobile operators.
- [Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) printer] Fixed: Windows stops responding when you use an IPP USB printer.
The update is optional and is offered via Windows Update if the user explicitly searches for updates on the Settings page and then selects the optional update for download and installation. The update can also be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Update Catalog. The latest Servicing Stack Update (SSU) is integrated.
