Changes to free Internxt storage plan

[German]No idea how many users the E2E-encrypted and, according to its own information, GDPR-compliant storage service Imternxt has, and how many blog readers are affected. Blog reader Lars Hendrik had received 2 GB of free online storage there. There were even various promotions to get up to 10 GB of online storage. This is now all being downgraded to 1 GB.

German blog reader Lars Hendrik applied for these 2 GB of free storage, received them, but did not use them. Therefore, he cannot say anything about the quality of the storage service. However, he was surprised to receive an email informing him that the free online storage had been downgraded to 1 GB.

Your free storage will be downgraded to 1GB

Starting July 1st, all Internxt users' free storage will be downgraded to 1GB. This decision is part of building a more sustainable company for the future.

If you have more than 1GB of storage with your plan, we will not delete any of your files, but you will lose your ability to upload more files to your account unless you free up storage space or upgrade to a premium plan.

If you want to upgrade your storage, you can choose from any of our 200GB or 10TB plans. As a token of our appreciation, you can upgrade to any of our premium subscription or lifetime plans with an 90% discount using code FREEVIP. These plans offer enhanced features and more storage space, providing you with a better user experience.

This offer expires on June 30th. If you do not upgrade your plan before then, your free account will be downgraded to 1GB.

This means that nothing is deleted if you use more than 1 GB of storage, but you can no longer upload anything. Upgrading to paid storage is eligible for a 90% discount until June 30, 2024.
