Microsoft has recently withdrawn update KB2920732 for PowerPoint 2013 (released February 10 2013) due to serious issues. Now this update is re-released.

I've blogged about this pulled update within my blog article Update KB3001652 re-released, KB3013455 has still issues, KB2920732 for PowerPoint 2013 has been pulled. The reason, why Microsoft has pulled this update was, that it killed PowerPoint 2013 on Windows RT machines. After installing this update, PowerPoint throws an error:
POWERPNT.EXE – Bad Image
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\1033\PPINTL.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error
Here has a workaround been published. But since yesterday, Microsoft has re-release update KB2920732 for PowerPoint 2013. Microsoft has also issued a KB2956149 article that describes, that update 2920732 has been re-released on Febrary 16 2015.
