Many people speculated, whether the release date of Windows 10 Anniversary Update will be July 29, 2016 (one year after release of Windows 10 Build 10240). But yesterday, somebody at Microsoft pressed a wrong button, so the post shown below was mistakenly published a short time.

Having a look at the calendar, shows that July 29, 2016 is Wednesday, a day, where Microsoft didn't release updates. But August 2, 2016 is a Tuesday, and Tuesday is patch day (at least for office).

Today, Microsoft sent out a press release and Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi stated in a blog post, that the Anniversary Update will be available on August 2 as a free upgrade to existing Windows 10 users.
