VMware has announced VMware Workstation 12.5 and Fusion 8.1 with improved support for Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The announcement has been made at VMworld within this blog post. There are two announcements, one for VMware Fusion 8.5 (Virtualization for Mac OS) and VMware Workstation (Virtualization for Windows).
- Fusion 8.5 and Fusion 8.5 Pro will be released as a free upgrade to current version customers at September 7, 2016.
- In a second blog post VMware announced Workstation 12.5 Pro and the Workstation 12.5 Player as a free upgrade to current version customers. This version will support Windows 10 Anniversary Update. After Windows Server 2016 is released, support for this os will be added.
MSPowerUser.com has the prices for Fusion: 80 $ (upgrade from Fusion 4 50$). VMware Workstation 12.5 Pro costs $250 ($150 as upgrade).
