[German]Just a short question: I got a tip, that Microsoft has released a new Intel Bluetooth driver via Windows Update a few days ago. No more details are given. If your system supports Bluetooth, did you received a driver update this week? Windows 7 is causing trouble with Bluetooth after installing Updates KB3161608 und KB3172605.

Addendum #1: A reader from my German blog send me the above screenshot with a few more details. The bluetooth driver has been release 11/14/2016, and Microsoft distributed it on 02/15/2017. It's the driver Intel Corporation – Bluetooth –11/14/2016 12:00:00 AM – 1930.1646.853 also available via Microsoft Update Catalog. According to the description, the following hardware ids:
usb\vid_8087&pid_07dc
usb\vid_8087&pid_0aa7
usb\vid_8087&pid_0a2a
and this update ids

ea551801-30b8-4b67-bd18-f5e4d32394de
are supported. But no further details are given. My assumption is, that it shall fix the Bluetooth bug in updates KB3161608 and KB3172605.
Addendum #2: Warning, my recommendation is – just block this WU driver install. One of my source told me, that a couple of users who has switched auto update on, reported issues after driver install. In case, you have bluetooth issues in Windows 7/8.1, go to vendor page and download the bluetooth driver for your hardware.
