There are still updates…
In April 2017 the extended support for Windows Vista expired – I had reported about it in the blog article Windows Vista reached End of Live (April 11, 2017). Microsoft no longer distributes security updates for this operating system. But the code base used for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 is the same. This allows updates for Windows Server 2008 to be downloaded manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog and installed manually under Windows Vista.

What is the best web browser for Win Vista Sp2, since most of them are not updated to run in this OS system anymore?
Thanks !
I have no recommendation, because I'm not using Vista anymore.
Maxthon Web Browser is now the best browser for Windows Xp and Windows Vista. I had vista on my old netbook and is working very fine !
Cốc Cốc browser or Mozilla Firefox.
maybe Firefox 52.9 ESR as the 32bit version of that one still supports Vista. after that, you are on your own and should dump Vista and upgrade to higher version of Windows as a long-term solution.
I've already given up using Vista earlier this year
I downloaded .msu files, but how can I install a group of Vista updates manually? My Windows Update hangs, and Wusa.exe requires one file at a time.
Why not use a batch file with WUSA.exe commands?
Also have a look at PowerShell (see)
Thank you so much for this. I have to run some old software that will only run under 32 bit Windows Vista or XP. The updates here are very useful. Thank you for all the hard work keeping this site up. Happy Holidays to you from the US.
PS: We are so sorry about our president. We are trying our best to get him out of office.
