According to media reports like macrumors.com, Apple send out invites to media on last Friday. They are announcing an event on Tuesday, March 27 at Lane Tech College Prep High School in Chicago. The keynote will commence at 10:00 a.m. Central Time and will be focused on "creative new ideas for teachers and students". Here is the invitation tweeted by Marc Gurman:

It means, Apple has some education-related announcements planned. MacRumors are speculating here, that cheeper iPads and Macbooks could be announced.
