Just a brief information for Windows Phone mobile device owners using Skype for Business and/or Microsoft Teams apps and Yammer. Contrary to Microsoft's announcement these apps should be available until August 2018 for Windows Phones.

Some Background
According to an announcement titled Windows phone apps for Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Yammer are retiring on May 20, 2018, the apps for Windows Phone should expire and stop working on May 20, 2018. I wrote about that within my German blog (Windows Phone: Aus für Skype, Teams und Yammer).
While Microsoft (intends to) continue supporting Windows 10 Mobile, they no longer want to focus on new features. Microsoft promised to further develop Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and Yammer for iOS and Android as well as for the desktop systems Windows and macOS. At the latest, when these platforms are no longer attractive, the apps will also be withdrawn. Further details and how those affected can help themselves can be found in KB article 4134653.
Grace period until August 20, 2018
This announcement seems to have led to protests among corporate customers, as German site Dr. Windows writes here.
- Skype for Business will remain in the store for Windows Phone 8.1 until August 20, 2018. For Windows 10 Mobile, the app will remain in the store until December 2019 (end of support for Windows 10 Mobile).
- Microsoft Teams will be removed from the store on July 20, 2018, and the backend will be shut down on October 20. The app won't work anymore.
