[German]Oracle released the update to version 181 for Java SE 8 on July 17, 2018. This is a security update that closes security holes (see also Oracle Security Advisory Juli 2018).

Within my German Windows 7 SP1, the JAVA updater displayed a notification below in the task bar and reported the update in a dialog box.
After successful installation, a dialog box was opened indicating upcoming changes – Java 8 will no longer be updated from the end of 2020, for corporate customers the changes will already apply from January 2019.
You can download the various Java packages from this Oracle website. The bug fixes for Java 8 version 181 are available here. Java SE Runtime Environment 10.0.2 is available here.
