Another short note for administrators who use Microsoft's Intune management software to manage iOS devices. The IMEI of the devices is probably not recognized correctly in Intune.

I don't use Intune myself, but the topic has just come to my attention on Twitter. Ben Whitmore points out the following problem in a tweet.
Note: If using IMEI as a corporate identifier for IOS enrollment in #Intune there is a MS confirmed issue with devices registering as Personal instead of Corporate. Using Serial Number as the identifier works as normal still. MS Investigating. Tell your friends #Intune #EMS #O365

If the administrator uses the IMEI of the iOS device as 'Corporate Identifier' this won't work. The IMEI isn't detected and the device will then be registered as 'Personal' instead of 'Corporate'. You may use the serial number of the device for identification. Microsoft is investigating the bug- maybe it will help some blog readers.
