Adobe Updates from January 1, 2019

Windows UpdateThere's a little supplement from last week. In addition to the Flash update, Adobe released further updates for Adobe Connect and Adobe Digital Editions on January 8, 2019.

Adobe Connect

The bulletins and advisories can be accessed via this page. The Adobe Security Advisory APSB19-05 is available for Adobe Connect. In Adobe Connect version 9.8.1 and earlier versions, there is an important session token exposure vulnerability (CVE-2018-19718). In other words, attackers could read and misuse a session token for a connection. Adobe has closed this with the update to Adobe Connect version 10.1. The release notes can be viewed here.

Adobe Digital Editions

Adobe released Security Advisory APSB19-04 for Adobe Digital Editions. In Adobe Digital Editions version 4.5.9 and earlier versions, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android have an Information Disclosure Vulnerability (CVE-2018-12817) that is considered important in the context of the current user. In other words, an attacker could be picking up information. Adobe has closed this with the update to Adobe Digital Editions version 4.5.10. You can download the individual products here.
