A brief note: The two platforms Taboola and Outbrain end the talks about a merger of the platforms that were announced a year ago in a pompous way. CNBC reports this in this article. Both platforms offer web publishers the opportunity to integrate content recommendations into their offerings. I found it interesting because Taboola tried to get into my blogs in May 2020. The 'sales promises' were gigantic – but at the end of the day, I didn't accept the 'offer'. The gag conditions were not acceptable to me. Currently I have integrated Google content recommendations at the end of my articles not really worth mentioning.
