[German]The Mozilla developers have released version 85.0.2 of the Firefox browser on February 9, 2021. This is a maintenance update that is supposed to fix bugs.

The release notes of version 85.0.2 are not updated yet (I will add them later). However, I assume that the update fixes a critical vulnerability or a major bug.
Addendum: The developers have updated the release notes – the patch fixes a deadlock at startup (see).

.o's are so quickly followed by .01's and .02's, etc, it really makes me think of some boob dropping arms fulls of packages, only to pick them up and drop them all again, all the while yelling, "I've got it, I've got it!"
the .02 release of FF 85 was supposed to fix a freeze/hang problem when launched:

I did not encounter the hang problem with FF85 & 85.0.1 on Win10 as the problem seemed to occur on certain macOS versions
