[German]The developers of the Thunderbird email client have released Thunderbird 78.14.0 as of September 7, 2021. This is a maintenance and security update for the 78 development branch.

I have already been notified about this update by blog readers (thanks for that). According to the release notes, the following vulnerability has been closed:
CVE-2021-29991: Header Splitting possible with HTTP/3 Responses; Firefox incorrectly accepted a line break in an HTTP/3 header and interpreted it as two separate headers. This allowed a header splitting attack on servers using HTTP/3.
As a known issue, the developers list that sending an email with HTML links with spaces in the URL sometimes results in broken links (was also the case with version 78.13.0).
